But...about your author comment at the beginning...is that an April Fool as well? I would hope so. I have enjoyed your stories but to hear your stance on the casting in such stark terms, quite honestly, really hurts the way I see your work.

Do you really equate a few arbitrary name changes as a fix to some sort of problem? Mike and Bryan hired a calligraphy professor for the actual show, they had actual martial artists to coordinate the action sequences, they had cultural consultants to make sure they avoided Asian stereotypes, both good and bad, one of whom was the former Vice President of the Media Action Network for Asian Americans, a major media watchdog group that even brought concerns over Airbender to the new CEO of Paramount. Even Iroh and Zuko were voiced by Dante Basco and Mako, two members of the East West Players, a group dedicated to getting Asian American actors a greater number of meaningful roles (Who are also a part of the protest, by the way.) Heck, Mako was one of the *founders* of the East West Players, and you're saying a few name changes based on what M. Night thinks is correct somehow override their concerns?

I'm greatly disheartened by your stance, LES, and I'm not sure I can honestly read your stories the same way.
