This was a great story. I enjoyed it so much. (I really should have been cleaning, not reading this, but... Oh well. Lol) I loved the dynamic between Spock and Jim, with the confusion of Spock Prime thrown in. It... Lol, it's late and I can't even conceptualize a review. lol

I found your story highly enjoyable. I would have loved to see Sarek's reaction when he found put about Jim and his son, and Pike's reaction when he found out that Jim wasn't kidding about solving problems by sleeping with them.

A truly good story. Well written with a good plot. A quiet humour and truly wonderful descriptions of the characters. Although it isn't an action story it never gets boring, it is nice drama and it truly awakened my curiousity. Thank you, I will most certainly read your other stories.

Argh, did not mean to story alert a finished fic! My finger klutziness aside, this story has been a pleasure. I don't know what it is that prompts writers to give stoic characters stuffed penguins, but I adore it every time. It made for a perfect ending. I can picture old Spock's face eyebrow lift at the sight, and it's glorious. Fun story again!

Omg, wow...powerful and intense story. I also like it how you build up Jim and Spock's relationship, especially making note of Jim's attraction to Spock. ;) ;) It is also interesting how you weave the idea of predestination as well Spock's morals(?) into the story and for his driving reason for leaving New Vulcan.

Please keep writing more stories something like this!

*sighs contentedly* What a perfect ending. I read this fic maybe a year ago for the first time and after rereading it just now I find that it is just as good if not even better than I remember it being from the first time. This is one of my favorite Star Trek 2009 fics. The characters are spot on, the plot is creative and engaging, and the romance builds slowly and with complete believability. Spock is so cute in this fic, and Kirk's portrayal as slightly pushy in his generosity and a confusing mix of confidence and instability complements him perfectly.

This is a great story and I'll probably reread again it many times in the future, so I hope it's never taken down from FFnet.
