I've stumbled on a couple of Rose/Jas stories and I have to say I really like the pairing. Recently I saw Eclipse with a few of my fic-writing girls. During the 'training academy' scene, there's a very brief moment between Jackson and Niki that drips with attraction. My beta leaned over to me and snickered "There's a fanfic waiting to happen,". Now I'm on the lookout for good Rose/Jas stories!

I *am* glad the jerk husband was Royce and not Emmett. You did a great job of illustrating Rose's progressive loss of herself in that marriage as well as her loneliness and depression. To me, Jasper is a natural pairing for her in this sort of situation.

I liked it! I'm glad you chose Royce instead of Emmett for the bad guy :) I was a little worried about the introduction of Edward, but that went okay, too. Phew. I'm glad that Jasper helped Rose walk away from that life-it doesn't seem like it's something she would have done on her own, and everyone deserves to be happy.

Very nice portrayal of Rose, nice to read a fic where she's not the antagonist.

Never thought I'd enjoy reading a Jasper/Rose lemon...it was a bit weird, but good.
