I have always respected Malon but my respect for her have...well, increased a bit more after reading this. I'm so glad I was able to find a writer such as yourself who shares the same thoughts as mine, and is able to put it into just simple, yet...breathtaking descriptions. I do not know how to review these (that's a good thing). Every once in awhile I come across writing that leaves me unable to review. Writing so perfect that words alone don't do it justice. Such is the case with EVERYTHING you write. I feel like I'm going to cry now, that was truly beautiful. You have a way with writing and words. Hope to read more from you soon!

This was *beautiful*. Absolutely beautiful. I feel so sorry for Malon, yet I understand Link's reasons for his infidelity.

Can't say I'm too happy with him though.

This was one of the very few romance stories I can truly enjoy. There's no sniding of Zelda (as is typical with Malink), a thing that I'm highly against. And the writing style makes the story flow so well... gives it a poetic, beautiful feeling... I love well written romances.

Well written - no doubt about it.

However, I quite agree with DARK SAGE and MALON A LUPIN that Link has no love interest. And he would NEVER in a MILLION years, ever do something like that! That is a violation of his character! *Grumble grumble* Its just like Malon to let something like that go...

An excellent third part! That is exactly how she must feel, and you worded it so well! You are such an awesome writer!

I think I am going to cry.

You know before in my review for Part Two how I said, "I LOVE IT ALL!"?

WELL I DON'T! I DO NOT LOVE LINK ANYMORE! HE IS VERY VERY NOT COOL! Stupid, stupid Link. Darned old Zeldy got in the way! I DON'T LOVE HER EITHER! I wish they would both just BE GONE! Just leave Malon to be happy with her life and find a different guy.

Dark Link

You are a very good writer, and it shows. However, I just can't imagine Link as a cheating husband. I always saw him as practically Form: Chivalry (Plato) and so to see him as this sneaking, dishonest guy is just kind of...well, very off-putting. Also, (and even though I was in the process of writing a Link/Malon fic) I am more and more beginning to believe that Link is just one of those Pure White Hero guys that will never love. I don't know, that's just me, me who has been rambling on way too long. Great fic; I'll read more of your stuff.

Nice ending to the story. Never quite seen Link in that particular light. Again, a nice play on emotion though I felt in this particular one there could have been more, it was well done none the less. I hope to read more of your fics and fanfics in the future. -

*The Author* You said that you could not feel sorry for thecharacters because they made stupid choices. You also said that the trilogy felt contrived because of it. I can understand part 1, but the "contrived" bit I do not agree with. Don't we all make stupid choices? Don't we all know that life doesn't always turn out the way we feel it should? The answer is yes, and that is the theme of this trilogy. These characters are

fictionally human, and humans do stupid things

sometimes. Some of us do feel sorry for them, some of us don't. Regardless, they are what they are, and they are not perfect. Perhaps this has changed your mind a bit; perhaps not. Thank you for reading, anyway! :)

I don't feel sorry for any of the characters in this trilogy. Poor Zelda, she was too foolish to tell Link she loved him. Poor Link, he was nasty enough to go marry a woman he does not love. Poor Malon, she was stupid enough to marry a man who does not love her and play Tammy Wynette to him (do you know the song Stand by Your Man?) They all made stupid choices and I cannot feel sorry for any of them and this triolgy feels contrived because of it.

That last sentence is gooseflesh inducing. You did a very good job managing all the viewpoints of this ‘affair to remember,’ and showcasing each with the class and equality the serious subject matter demanded.

I read the other 2 parts, but I'll just review them both here. To tell you the truth, I'm one of the few people who believe Link doesn't love anyone. It's just the way I see him act in the games. But to each his/her own. I like the first one the best, and the other ones are lovely too. Thank you for notifying me about the two sequels.
