First of all, don't take this as a flame, just my sincere opinion.

I hated it because it wasn't at all what I thought it would be. I think putting either tragedy or horror instead of drama would give a clue to your reader about the kind of story your'e writing about. And please don't say you wanted to surprise the reader. The reader has a right to choose what he wants to read or not and mislead the reader about the content is just low. I didn't read the note at the beginning (I should have, it would have given me a clue, but it's usually useless chat and I don't really care about the author's life so I don't anymore.) Changing the genre to horror or putting a warning in bold letters would be better.
