I like this. I haven't read the book(s) but I've seen the movie. I actually like leaving who/ what prot really is up to the reader. Tell DragonWriter that folie a deux is a delusion shared by two. (Although I'd say there's more than just two people who believe in prot.) Good job!

Okay, please take what I am writing with the lightest grain of salt, because maybe I'm wrong.

But I really didn't get that last part with the whole Pun deal involving prot's name. I think it was just a tad over the top, though having seen a shrink myself I won't rule it out.

Also, could someone PLEASE tell me what 'folie ah deucing' means? I have an idea but I just want to confirm it, and I never read that term once in K-Pax, nor in any of the excerpts from On a Beam of Light.
