...powerful. Sad. It's a shame to follow up your fic with in-eloquence, but I feel a little struck dumb. Eloquent would be a good word to describe your fic, actually. I loved your tragic characterization of Itachi, the thread of drowning that was just enough but not overbearing, the snapshots, the way you write-concise, poignant, stark. Thank you again for another beautiful fic.

I came across the summary for this fic - such a well-written, poetic and telling summary - and was overcome with a desire to read the story. If it was even half as good as the summary, it would have been a worthwhile read. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was that and more.

You captured Itachi's struggle so well. The short sentence structure is like gasping for breath. It adds another layer to the theme of the story, and does so brilliantly. I applaud you!

Very depressing but written well

Loved it. Incredibly and deeply depressing, but I loved it. You put a different spin on Itachi's life from the death of Shisui onward. Excellently done.

That was amazing! It was so sad, I nearly cried! Great job, I really loved it! It fits perfectly with Itachi's tragic life and describes his horror of living on when he probably wished to die so well. Beautiful. I really enjoyed reading it.
