Fizzing Wizard 5/1/10 . chapter 2 I like this one. Nice job! As usual, you capture House & Co. in a way that really fits. Also, I thought of you when House said "namaste" on the last episode XD |
Aquarius Seth 4/30/10 . chapter 2A man cooking? This I've got to see! Where's chapter 3 already! |
08joanna 4/26/10 . chapter 2I like the thought that House would make one of Blythe's recipes; maybe Nolan's encouraging him to remember good things from his childhood. Also enjoyed Chapter 1 - I can see that Wilson might've wound up on Facebook because of a young patient. Hope you continue to write short pieces based on snippets of dialogue, since your take on these characters is always dead-on. |
MissBates 4/25/10 . chapter 2A short conversation that tells us a lot about Blythe House by implication. A lonely woman, even when her husband was still alive, hampered by the lifestyle his profession forced on her. Obsessive, like her son. "He did. And he always cleaned his plate." She goes silent for a moment, then takes a breath. A poignant moment, one that shows us that whatever the issues that House might have had with his father, for his mother his death left a vacuum that hasn't been filled as yet. |
MissBates 4/25/10 . chapter 1You've captured both Wilson's and House's character within one chapter, Wilson, who can't say no to anyone and gets involved in everything, and House, who can't or won't respect Wilson's privacy, but makes absolutely no secret of violating it. Under it all, hardly tangible, but nevertheless present, House's concern that Wilson will do something stupid. |
Shadow Cat65 4/25/10 . chapter 1OK, I'm an idiot. A very distracted one, but still... You specifically said ficlets and rated it complete. My pathetic reading comprehension skills aside, this was great. |
Shadow Cat65 4/25/10 . chapter 2This is wonderful. You have such a deft hand with the characters. Can't wait to see where you are going with this. |
Brighid45 4/24/10 . chapter 2I read both chapters and they're excellent. I especially liked chapter two with Blythe and Greg and the stick figures in the flour-very tender and amusing, with Blythe showing us just where Greg gets some of his personality. Well done. Hope there's more coming. :) |
