You write good. You use good grammar and spelling which is hard to find sometimes in fanfictions. The authors are just too lazy to take the time and proof read to fix mistakes on simple words.

The one thing I do have to suggest though, is that, Ouran High School is a anime/manga that is upbeat and humorous. I find it awkward to read about a character who has such a tragic past. She doesn't really fit into this type of anime world. Also, I don't think she'd be the type at all to be with Kaoru.

Other than that, well done.
