I really really liked this one. It has a kind of meticulous yet tasteful style to it, as if Natsume, himself, had gone over it. Also, it's not a regular occurrence to see Hotaru and Natsume working so well together. It's even more rare to see a Natsume with OCD but the story was merely built around the disorder. I'm sorry if I'm all over the place with this review but I loved the concept and am trying to get as much out as possible. It definitely made my list of fanfics I go back to on rainy days. I especially loved the French quote since I've taken classes for the language for many many years. Overall, probably the best oneshot I've ever read. There are fluffy oneshots, as you have written before, but nothing can compare to something so realistic (even though you clearly stated that it was exaggerated) and relatable. This is a fine piece of work. I applaud you. Now, onto Correspondence!

Seriously, I am beyond speechless.

I've seen a lot of Natsume/Hotaru stories, but this, THIS IS ONE OF A KIND. I've never seen a oneshot so original, yet so beautifully written. Writing AU is hard, and seeing that this is your first one, it looked like you've been writing AU for ages already.

The characters are well-characterized. You portrayed them very well.

This story deserves more than a review. Really. A beautiful masterpiece. As always.

Yes, I could say that you made Natsume's OCD case a little bit exaggerated. But for the sake of Literature, I guess it was worth it.

I was always fond of watching patients with psychiatric disorders. And from someone who had a slight knowledge of the medical field, Natsume's case is something worth studying. Although I do not think his condition receded though. It only got worse.

I agree with him, that pity would be the last thing he needs. I know how that feels. And the camaraderie Hotaru and Natsume shares is quite impressive.

I don't like seeing them paired up together in the field of romance because it contradicts their tough nature. But seeing them paired up together in "friendly" situations, I feel like a very lucky spectator to see their minds clashing with each other.

I've read this a long time ago and I forgot to drop off a review. This is, by far, the best HxN I've ever read. I don't think there are many fans of HxN out there, and it takes a great deal of work just to get these two characters to actually click. Everything was so heart-wrenching and the entire plot was original. This is beyond my expectations.

Great story . Although, I was wondering where did you put the Aspergers Syndrome . I liked to observe people who has this syndrome, because it is of a syndrome who has difficulty socializing, having no eye contact and is so called 'stuck in his own world'. I don't think Natsume has that, since he is after all a lawyer.

Wow. Amazing. I pretty accurate potrayal of OCD. My only comment was to maybe describe his clothing as all being the same and in perfect order, it's to hard for OCD people to decide clothing and such, so usually it's all the same, everything. If they like it. They never want to change it. Great and wonderful oneshot.

yeah...totally right..i used to only read fanfic without leaving any trace that i read it..well, some of the fanfic is just as similar as other... and i do admit that there are more that write good fanfic.

But yours, this one is totally awesome! Really, i never could imagine writing something like this as you write. if i were to try, i might mess up and make the story really sucked!

so i congratulated you for good fanfic story, it did not sound out of place at all...

Now, I'm not much a fan of long oneshots. I like them short, sweet, and to the point. But this? This I had to see lengthened, to the point wherein I wished it was my reality.

I loved the most of his imperfection. The idea that Natsume Hyuuga isn't the 'man', so to speak, really attracted me to this story.

As a Three Days Grace supporter, the little lyric snippet of Never Too Late was just a bonus for me. :D

It's been about three minutes without me fully breathing properly.
