Once again I'm speechless. It's really nice to hear their thoughts and having then so completely in character even though there are some new dimensions being released in this fic.

It reads beautifully and you never want to stop then the final sentence comes along and it makes even me, a guy who does martial arts and is trained to take a guy out in 7 seconds, sigh and wish he could share that sentiment with that special somebody. My god... Somethings wrong with me.

I just love your writing. It inspires me.

I really like this piece because it shows Squall as an actual human. Usually he is always the king of angst and it's hard to find any thing with him anywhere near a normal human being. It's kind of annoying. When I was younger I'd play the game and I related to Squall alot because we had similar childhood experiences and it gets old when everyone portrays him to be so broken that he is emotionless. That's not how it goes. So I really like this.

This short story gave great insight into Rinoa and Squall's thoughts, even though I could never believe that Squall would leave Garden so soon. I know that you were experimenting with different versions of the characters, so in that sense, it was courageous. You're an excellent writer.

havent played ff8 in a long time but for some reason felt like checking out some stories. glad i did i really enjoyed yours. love the way you describe rinoa and squall and their relationship. off to read more of your stories now!

If only everyone could be as lucky as Squall

Let me get some things outta the way before i write a review proper. Truthfully, being a big FF7 fan, i was very disappointed with FF8 overall, and i never really got into it.

Secondly, i dislike Squall, loads. i've never really been able to relate to any of the characters in 8, but when i played the game, i admired Rinoa's character immensely. i always liked her blend of childlike innocence and mature responsible rebel fighter. You've definitely brought out the more world-weary latter part of her in this fic. Just digressing here, but i've never been able to imagine Squall and Noa in bed together, somehow, in the game, i don't think they ever made her out to be that kind of character so it's kinda strange, unnerving and highly amusing to see so much Squinoa smut out there(or ones with Seifer)rated M for adult content grrargh, apart from your story, i mean. Blanch, Square, blanch. Whoops, getting too sidetracked here.

Ahem, sorry, so what i want to say izzat i love how you have managed to capture the essence of her here. You are truly an amazing talented author. You really should consider going professional if no one's offered you a book deal yet. i love how you have also managed to never detract from her character in the game while revealing a darker and more sombre side of it. Amazing job. Truthfully, even if i filled the whole page with superlatives, i could probably never be able to describe how incredible your story is, so i'm just going to leave this at that.

Anyhow, one last thing that i want to say is that i really appreciate you portraying Rinoa and Quistis to be good friends,unlike so many other authors who seem to revel in giving them a good hair pulling session to work out their grievances over. i really wish that you could do something like this for Quistis as well, i'd love to see that. Thank you for this wonderful story.
