I was reading a BxE fic yesterday and there was a scene between Edward and his adopted mom Esme that got me thinking maybe Esme and Edward may not be too bad. So I went fic diving and found this beauty.

I absolutely loved this. I laughed, cried, sighed, and smiled.

I really loved this one shot and you did a wonderful job in writing it. Thank you so much for writing and sharing it with us. Edward and Esme is not usually a pairing I read. Yes, I am one of those canon woman *winks* However, lately, I've been drawn to other pairings. The way you wrote Esme was beautifully. I loved the way you wrote her. The pain that she carried of not being able to carry Charles child was heart wrenching. The attraction that she felt for Edward was strong and I loved the built up to it. Edward definitely pursued her. I loved that. I loved the sexy times they shared. It was realistic. I like to think that they did get together for the long haul but my imagination does not think it was easy. However, it was worth it. Thank you, again. The PPSS rec'd you.

Hopey, I suck, I'm just now reading this. But I really really loved it. This line hit me so hard- Esme was too old to be young and carefree like she longed for, and too young to feel as old as she did.

It's pretty damn sad how strongly I can relate to that. Thanks for writing this and sharing with us :-)
