I like how you portray both characters especially their inner turmoil. This is the first ffviii fanfic that I enjoy reading. :) hopefully you'll get your muse soon. Looking forward to see the next update!

This fic isn't finished, right? Well, it's alright, because I still like the ending of this chapter. In fact, it wouldn't be all that hard to believe if this were "The End".

"Quistis breathed in the sunset, the lapping ocean on the island and a road full of promises. This, she thought, what new beginnings feel like."

Thank you for the incredibly fun two days that I've spent consuming, yes consuming, your story (I even lugged my laptop to school and read in between classes, lol). And...keep on writing, you've got a great style.

I must say...I am mightily impressed with the way you address the inner turmoil of both Quistis and Seifer. And oh, the kiss...can't really get any better than the way you've described it:

"All the sweetness in the world was all wrapped up in this one kiss. The way his lips brushed hers, so soft and tender, the way he began with gentle titillation rather than forced entry - it was exactly the kind of kiss one would give as the last."

Oh man, could NOT stop laughing! It's extremely cute when Seifer coaches Quistis on what to do and how to make sounds. It just seems so in character for her to not get it right the first time, since most of us associate Quistis with innocence and propriety.

Again, I love the mundanity of Quistis and Laguna unexpectedly bumping into each other and agreeing to a midnight snack.

LOL.

So you've taken a relatively ordinary situation - Quistis accidentally knocking Seifer unconscious - and have transformed it into, in my opinion, one of the funniest Quistis-Seifer moments I've ever had the joy of reading. The best part is, you didn't need to have something dramatic happen to hold my attention (i.e. an enemy attack or some other "ohmigod the world is ending" incident). Now THAT takes some excellent writing skills, which you are obviously the possessor of!

The only thing I would say to watch out for is verb tense.

You've constructed some really beautiful descriptions in this chapter, and I can't wait to read more.

Ok I'm going through a Seifer and Quists fanfic fandom and I have to say this is like the best story I have read. I've noticed that the last time you updated this story is in the March of last year, well I don't know if you gave up on it or not but I just stayed up until 4:30 in the morning reading all 19 chapters and I'm hoping that you'll finish it for me. So please ( I don't mean to sound like I'm whineing) finish this story some-time soon! I'm hoping you'll consider my plea and update soon! Thank you, for a wonderful fanfic and continue writing.

This is a really nice story so far with an original Seiftis plot. My favorite line was that pun on Seifer not wanting to die by a "Squall." :D I hope you'll finish this one day after you have everything sorted out. Good luck!
