PLUS. They totally had moments. Like... FIVE OF THEM. 8DDDD SO EPIC! It's about time these boys finally were able to stop hating each other (though I guess you can't really blame 'em) and being just plain old chaotic. But I still can't believe that Cloud actually admitted to a COUPLE of things! AHHHH! THIS IS AMAZING! They're finally making progress! AWESOME! 333 I sooo cannot wait to read your First Impressions and to work on mine! That's the best part sometimes! 8D 333333!

First part of the story? TOTALLY EXPECTED LIKE...EVERYTHING. Second part of the story? ...ROFLLLLLL! XDDDDDDD I cracked up in the middle of my "SHH! BE SILENT, MINIONS! DISTURB ZE PEACE AND WE KEEEEEEEEEEEEEELZ JOO! D8" computer lab at school. XD ...yeah. Epic. EPIC EPIC! And uh, was I the only one shocked that, considering they still have no problem wanting to sacrifice the life of the other every second or so (considering they get into a new mess about that often, XD), they were still considerably NICER to each other this chapter? ...now if I wasn't surprised before, I am now! Makes you kinda wonder, doesn't it? How things are gonna play out in the next chapter. :D Hopefully... with less sacrificing and more smex. XD ...uh, I mean... niceness... yeah. ...AUTHOR NOT GOT INSIGHTS, NO. BYE. -Poofs-

XD ...it's a little sad. This is -so- over the top with crack and nonsense that it's hard for even -me- to imagine anything even POTENTIALLY serious EVER coming out of it! AND I WROTE HALF OF IT! Though I must say, even though it's so crazy and whatnot, filled with randomness and chaos... it's funny how I can already pick out the things in their interactions that will lead to so much heartbreak and love later on. Sure, they're acting like total jerks and more than a bit nutty... in fact, re-reading this yet again has made me realize how ABSOLUTELY out of character some of these parts were! To an extent, yes, both of them as presented here are in tune with some of their own actual qualities. But we've started it out so rough and one-note for both of them. It's like they only have one personality trait and that trait rules over anything else in them completely.

Is that how all people start out when they first meet someone? What truly makes me happy though, is the fact that: crack or not, the OOCness of this fic might seem very high, but it's really very much like how things started out. They are both past so many things in their lives, and it's left them with a lot learned, but a lot more yet to be discovered. I think that's the real charm of crossover fics, and I never realized it until now.

Rain, let's promise to make this story something that fans of both Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy VII can read someday, and say that they are truly grateful to have read. Let's do our very best to try to show Cloud and Dart in a light like no one else has ever seen, so that they can -truly- understand and learn to love these men for the -amazing- people that they are... and always have been.
