What a great premise for a fic! Simple yet it really highlighted the trusting relationship the boys share.

You did a great job with Dean's introspection here as he tries to convince Sam that he's okay, knowing full well that he isn't and also how he keeps worrying about Sam scratching the car! You captured Sam's fear and reluctance to drive really well and I liked how this fic picked up on how these boys will do anything for each other.

This was a really sweet fic and I'd love to see more! I can see this working as a series, seeing the boys struggle with driving for varying reasons. Maybe have one steering who can't see and the other directing because he can't steer etc etc. Take care, Abbi

Great little fic. You got Sammy's apprehension spot on as he was forced to drive the Impala and get them both back to the motel - not only did he have the worry of never driving before but he was worried about Dean's injuries and the amount of blood he was losing. Typical of Dean holding on and not passing out until he had verbally guided Sam with his driving and they were safe at the motel! Loved the ending with Sam curled up asleep next to Dean and telling him not to make him do it again!
Loved it, and you would never know from this fic that you do not drive! Sounds like you would learn really quickly!
