Heartwrenching. The brevity of this chapter really communicated the urgency, the staggering pain and emotion. And, of course, the Old Narnian makes it all the more...well, more, because the one speaking it would not have lapsed into it unless they truly were distressed, I think.

The intermixed verse (resemblent of a Psalm, no?) was well done-especially the halting manner in which it was written. Well done.

Beautiful. The words to this song speak so well of Susan's heart, her emotions. This scene makes perfect sense. I can easily picture her inching into a room and longing for the person inside, the Storyteller, to make things right.

Again, beautiful work. I loved every word of it.

I loved your incorperating scripture into the chapter, it really gave Edmund's thoughts added depth and meaning.

I'd been meaning to read this for a while. The summery kept nagging at me, beckoning me to read it, just to try. I wasn't sure what I would get when I started reading. I was afraid of coming upon a story written by a well meaning person, but not so well executed...But You have surprised me! I came to the end of what you had written and wanted more. This is quality stuff here, I thought even if some of the chapters are short.(which isn't always bad methinks.)So write on! May God give you the creativity and inspiration to continue.
