Please break my heart and write a sequel to this depicting Sam waking up and realizing Frodo has indeed left for good: his walking stick is gone, his pipe, his sack, plenty of food beside, along with a fair amount of missing wardrobe and his heavy cloak.

I want to see Sam's desolatation, his pain at being abandoned without so much as a goodbye or explaination. Yes. That would be quite lovely.

Although I did like this. It was very nice. It seems to be begging for more though. I went to click the "chapter 2" button and . . . alas there was none.

Aw! It's very good, except unless you want to insinuate a *relationship* between Frodo and Sam, you should probably change the "i want to lay my head on his chest" thing. ALthough, maybe you should keep it in there. I DON'T KNOW! Good fic, keep writing!
