So I just downloaded BR2 on my PS3 and it brought back some good Keniko memories. I decided to check out the ol' fanfic haunts of days long since passed, and I have to say this one is still one of my favorites! I can't even remember if I ever read it in its entirety before or if I did but failed to review. (

I'm mildly inspired to write a fic of these two again, but my husband will probably kill me if I take up precious writing time doing a fanfic instead of working on an original piece that he so desperately wants for me to finish (someday). But who knows? The muse may strike and I may wind up drawing up a few pieces instead. Until then, thanks for not deleting this one (unlike myself and the few dismal stories I'd written)! Good times.

Something about this line keeps making me laugh. I think it's the contrast of "like" and "burn with fiery emotion". I mean, it could have just been "like" and "love", or "like" and "adore", or even "like" and "hopelessly devoted to"...but no, it's "like" and "burn with fiery emotion". (Or maybe it's just the word "burn" that makes me giggle. BURN! ...and now I'm giggling irl. o.o)

Kenji says there's a spending limit on the credit card, but seeing as he rents a hotel room and buys three tickets between India and Japan, each of which would probably cost over a thousand dollars, especially when purchased on such short notice...what the hell kind of spending limit did Yugo set? o.O

You know what, Kenji? That's probably not too reassuring for Uriko at the moment. Now siddown and drink your tea and calm down.

Once again, Kenji: calm down. 'cause if you're really concerned about Uriko, your first priority should be getting her home. Especially after she had that little crying burst from homesickness.

I know Milyna was getting a little too forward, especially with the attempted kiss...but hell, Kenji, you didn't do anything like that to Wendy, and she groped you. :( Why are you pushing down THAT girl, she doesn't deserve it at all.
