I regret it that way, but I confess I do not like this minerva. I hope she will see the truth, at least on harry.

I do not understand why it has not made aware of the situation with the Dursleys harry ... as head of house, it would be necessary, and it would allow him to understand better the child.

Oh my gosh, I normally don't review until the end of the last current chapter, but I just love Severus so much I had to praise you. It seems you have captured the essence of Severus's sarcastic and sardonic nature and barreled it into a pleasantly humorous and generally ill-natured human being with a soft spot. This is the most realistic Snape I've read in too long of a time. I burst out laughing at Severus simplifying his life, continued when he did it again, and finally decided a review was more than necessary to tell to how brilliant you are when I got to the end and he said he drank it all.

Bravo!

This is really good- I like the way the characters are so balanced- like how Dumbledore has his flaws, but it's not all Dumbledore bashing! Looking forwards to the next chapter :)

Really great story so far, and a fascinating exploration of the personal dynamics between the three of them. Personally, I thought your Minerva was spot-on in many regards; canon certainly didn't portray her as a decent head of house, nor was she ever seen as especially flexible or compassionate in her dealings with others.

I'm reading your story, and this chapter, where Severus & Albus confront Harry for the first time about Harry's misconceptions, is simply brilliantly written. I know the conversation is serious, but Severus steals the show with his snide comments. It's hilarious! As much as I want to feel the hurt and confusion from Harry's situation, Severus's own comments accurately depict the man's personality. I love it. I think this is one of my favorite chapters.

Woah, this has been a most amazing read! I admit that I almost stopped reading when Dumbledore removed memories of the worst abuse Harry's suffered, but not because he decided to do it, but because of how Harry's constantly belittling and degrading himself as a result of the abuse he's went through. But now I'm glad I've read this fic, though. It was equally humorous and angst-y in parts. I love it.

I have been reading this story since Chapter 10 and I love how far it has come for everyone in the story. I love the history behind each character and the relationship that has grown between Albus, Severus, Harry, and Fawkes (can't forget about him). The witty banters, the tough times to get through, the sweet moments they share like a family, as a family. I love it, everything in the story is so wonderfully written.

But do you mind if I can ask a question though? Are you really considering of introducing a female character for Severus? It's just that I think that it'll ruin the magic that you created surrounding the story, like, I mean, all the characters here are known in canon and to bring in someone else not from the magical world that JKR created I think is disruptive, y'know?

Anyways, that was what I was worrying about enough to ask if you really plan to. I feel like I can add a little more reasoning but I already wrote too much so I don't want to take up too much space, besides I'm supposed to be reviewing your chapter.

My favorite part of your latest chapter was Fawkes' nickname for Severus, when he was excited to see Harry, every witty banter (always my favorite), Albus' spell on Severus, and lastly:

"Severus, stay away from my lemon drops! I mean it...SEVERUS!"

Loved it.

Good chapter. I liked Severus's reaction to the divination. It'd be pretty ironic if Harry turned out to be a seer. I wonder how they're going to bring their year closer together. I can say from experience that people tend to become closer when faced with adversity. Now they just need a crisis to hit the school.
