I waited until I read every single page of the HoTC to review. I don't even have much to say.

First off, this is without a doubt the best fanfic I've ever read. Ever. The absolute best there is. And I've read a lot. My favorite part of the series is the interactions between Humans and Elites. Everything is completely believable. It's amazing.

I urge you to contact Frank O'Connor and become a book writer for real. I know you would be successful.

I don't even know what else to say. Thank you for gracing fanfic with this work of art.

it's funny. Awkwardness seems to define Tori and Flint's relationship and their interactions with others. it seemed very fitting for the meet-and-greet to go the same way.

and you really know how to close out a story. Tori's full name... just, fantastic.

i was so excited when i saw that you had a new chapter up, but i was too busy to have time to read it. so now after reading it all in a pair of sittings, it was great!

never missed a beat with the plot or characters. i still love the interaction with the two Spartans. while the craziness of their relationship sometimes has me scratching my head, it is ever evolving, which is brilliant.

amazing action description as well! you're able to generate a battle scene that is quite real while keep the flow.

can't wait for more!

tremendous! after writing my own stuff and listening to my thoughts drone on, i was so happy to read some top-notch writing for a change! truly wonderful.

i never missed a beat as far as connecting what had happened last chapter. the desperation was well written especially with the ending with Tori... great stuff!

Absolutely awesome, as usual. Perfect action, amazing reactions between characters, gripping battle scenes, and dialogue that keeps me chuckling. Only Flint could be a smartass in a situation like this one... :)

well, after a brief hiatus, it was so enjoyable to read another installment!

i had no trouble recalling and picking up right where it left off.

you really know how to properly sculpt the dialogue between characters. Frank & Flint, Magrasse and the Brute, Tori & the marine... all were very believable and felt very natural.

i thought the action was very well described, giving a good balance of detail without detracting from the momentum.

i enjoyed the hint of further plot developement with the Chieftan, even if it is a throwback to the past.

the last Tori part seemed odd, but then it kinda made sense in the end.

all in all, a wonderful chapter!

Awesome, as usual. Love Flint more with each chapter you pose, especially the relationship he has with the Elites. It's awesome. Though, I have to say, Tori annoys the hell out of me... but that's okay, I love her anyway. :D

Wow, kinda fell behind on this fic, getting slot better. My only things that I think needs improving is the meeting scene of Flint and Frank, got a wee bit lost in the action. The other is the set of questions about what Flint had been up to, not everybody remembers the entire story. I'd forgotten about the forerunner planet escapade for example.

Chapter 67 were an "A"

Things really start looking up for the both of them. One more thing, does this story take place in Halo1,2, or 3? Or does it take place in the reach story.

the reunion! finally!

i loved the awkwardness and how Flint is still a hard shell to crack, and most likely never will. It was funny to see the two being brothers, even for a brief moment, while the planet was in chaos (i'm refering to the banter "I'm older.")

the Viktor part at the end felt the tiniest bit weird. the flow of the story seemed to shift abruptly, but that could just as easily been intentional. sort of a "back to action" scene.

no grammar or spelling mistakes that i could see.
