Loves to read books 2/21/12 . chapter 1Super story! It is going on my favorites list. |
 magdilen 5/17/06 . chapter 1good idea |
deeply appreciative 12/7/04 . chapter 1 Yes! My favorite Remus is exposed fic ever! More please. |
Dreamscapes Symphonic 7/10/04 . chapter 1Great story. I'm printing it out and reading it to my sister while we wait for the 6th book.
BTW: I love your pen name. |
Fantome 11/13/03 . chapter 1Sirius is impressionable and immature, which is just right. Pre-teen boys aren't too observant, so this is a great idea to be the way they figure it out. Definitely addresses the boys' prejudices in a funny way. I liked how Peter wanted to tell but just went along with the crowd. I can just see Sirius being a comic book nut and I liked hearing about Martin Miggs too! |
anaid88 8/13/03 . chapter 1that was so heartfelt and *smiles* it was sweet |
Arieanna LupinMykah Malfoy 7/12/03 . chapter 1 This is...Humorous. I love it! It's never been done. Ten thumbs up (Even if I only have two...) All I can give you is great comments... Keep it up. |
tempestuous 9/29/02 . chapter 1this is really wonderful, as is the rest of your work that i've read.
the Garrick Randolph comic seems perfectly authentic, as do the characters of the boys.
i like this better than a lot of the "lots of afterschool research and angst" fics that lead to James, Sirius, and Peter learning about Remus's lycanthropy.
also, i LOVE that you incorporated a dog named Padfoot in the Martin Miggs comic. makes for a great backstory. :) |
JKLB 7/16/02 . chapter 1What a great idea-Remus keeps missing the "performance" that Sirius's poster gives. It makes much more sense than 11 or 12 year old boys paying attention to moon phases for any other reason.
However, if I were Remus, and my friends started saying, "It's OK, we know," I wouldn't dare assume that what they "know" is that I'm a werewolf. They would have to say it in no uncertain terms before I'd admit it. (Never confess to a crime you haven't been accused of.)
P.S. I also liked the source of the name "Padfoot." |
Bitter Bathory 5/27/02 . chapter 1This is a clever way of them discovering Remus'...er...condition, fits with what I imagine Sirius' boyhood personality to be.
Also, my cat goes berserk when I walk in the room, but I haven't slipped up and eaten her yet, so I guess I could give Mr. Pickles a home. |
Jelsemium 5/27/02 . chapter 1I can't believe I didn't review this already. Lovely little story. I can just see that a werewolf hunter would make a good wizarding comic book.
I really like the poster of the werewolf hunter showing a battle on the night of the full moon. Very creative way to have the others realize that Remus is never there when the moon is full.
I also love that the Martin Miggs the Mad Muggle comic book gave Sirius his Padfoot nickname. (By the way, did you know that "Padfoot" is another name for the Grim?)
Keep up the good work!

Meir Brin 5/23/02 . chapter 1 Nice stuff! Of all the "Remus Discovery" fics I've read, I think I like this one the best!
-Meir "Chicanery" Brin |
All Mighty Terrestrial 3/25/02 . chapter 1This explanation of how they knew that Remus was a werewolf makes a lot of sense. And it makes a perfect excuse to become an animagi (like they needed an excuse). (grin) |
Jaina Lusa Solo 2/15/02 . chapter 1Hee hee hee. That situation is just hilarious. I love it. I also liked the no sickles thing. |
Evie 2/12/02 . chapter 1 Oh, I'm sorry, I just had to read and review again! This is a really good story, and I certainly hope you write more soon! The plot is so original and your style is very advanced compared to the others I've seen here. Hope to see more soon! |
