I found this fanfiction a few days ago and I have been reading it nonstop, day and night. I have to say that this is by far the best fanfiction I have ever read. You captured every beautiful moment of the movie in stunning detail and even added some moments of your own. The story is hilarious, heartwarming, and just all around brilliant. I know you're really busy but It would be amazing if you would write another chapter soon. You left us at such a cliffhanger! Seriously, I refresh this page every day. ) Anyway, enough of my rambling. I just hope you find the time to write more soon. You are a phenomenal writer and I can't wait to read more!

Quick suggestion: have Alex sing out her feelings through Cee Lo Green's song "F*ck You" but in a way that the lyrics are edited to fit the story (ie: "I guess she's a teacher, and I'm more of a camp aide,but that don't mean I can't get you there)

Wow, I know it's been a while, but what an update!

First of all, I love all the BTTF references you managed to squeeze in with Marty's reappearance. From the names - Future Boy, Clint Eastwood - to the catch phrases. :)

Oh, good golly, this is about to get interesting. Robert's little fling with Charlotte Forten, who I think you portray very well here, is just beginning. Colonel Montgomery - I knew that guy was one bad dude the second I saw him riding with Robert during the march. Did you see the way he yanked on his poor gray horse's head? He CANNOT ride and he SHOULDN'T ride. Ugh! Thank god that beautiful Glory has a much better rider - just entered the picture. And I knew Alex was going to find that note! Robert should've burned it. Well, Alex is going to get fired up from that, as she ought to. I can't wait for the next installment!

There were also no spelling or grammar errors that I could detect. And what a nice, long chapter it was, too! Great job! It's good to have you back!

But seriously...this chapter was great. It took me on a roller coaster of emotions. I was furious at Marty, terrified that poor Alex would have to go back home, and super sad that she felt worthless to Rob. Charlotte made me so mad in this chapter! I guess that shows what a fantastic writer you are!
I'm taking AP American history this year and was super sad when the 54th wasn't even mentioned in our course material! So I had to come home and reread this to get my glory fix. I'm so glad that you're going to finish this story. It's seriously my favorite.
Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to an update whenever you're able to.
