This is a great oneshot! I can never find any Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica fanfiction, because nobody writes it! Thanks for writing this (and i definitely think it was a good rewrite!)

For everybody who wants more Imaginarium Geographica fanfiction, there's one other story that I've managed to uncover: it's called The Violet Queen. It's about how John's daughter figures out he's a Caretaker, and so far it's really good. But he/she has only written 1 chapter, so maybe if more people review, he'll write more! :D please check it out.

I think you did an awesome job with keeping the characters 'in character' especially the cartographer, he's a tricky one to write for.

Weee! I read have of it before I realized it was from The Shadow Dragons. Then, I stopped reading 'cause I'm still finishing Book 2. Hahahah. Didn't want Book 4 spoiled. XD

But hey, the half that I read IS good! I'm gonna look forward to other fanficts for The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica... and to the day I finish reading all of the books! :D

I take it you can't stand this series. It's my favorite, but I agree that the fact that Charles agrees to have a map tattooed on his back "bugs" me.
