Dark, excellent story. Somehow, I liked it better than most of the everything-for-them-is-destiny-and-bliss pieces that most of us scribble away. This was different, and certainly interesting. Nice work.

On this my second reading, I'm reviewing. And either you revised it between Rage Reads 'Sophistication' Take One and Take Two or I read it too quickly, too distractedly the first time around. I'm thinking it's likely the latter. And it's all I can DO, DMP, to not leap up on the computer chair and whoop, "I TOLD YOU!!" *grin* I'm so proud. Vivid, BOLD, and WIDE-eyed again. And all without EVEN cutting above a PG-13.
