Awww, somehow I had to stop and re-read this again. I know you're not working on it anymore but it still is a wonderful story even without any conclusions. In fact, I may just like it best without a conclusion. I don't particularly like happy endings but the finality of an on-the-page heartbreaking, if not realistic, ending leaves a bitter taste as well. :) So, in some ways, I'm glad you never finished this story. It's too good to give some bow-tied happily ever after and yet I don't have to deal with the written in stone fact that most, if not all, of the characters are screwed. :)

Great story. Always one of my favorites. And one I re-read whenever I need some really good Ken angst. :)

It's such a shame... I read this a while back... and I remember thinking how odd it was to see someone so talented still in the net. Now I read this again and my opinion hasn't changed. What I do regret is that the las update of this story was more than four years ago... and so, realization hit me. There's not going to be an ending for this story. It makes me sad, because you were so close too.

I guess this review isn't worth much after all this years... but still, I want you to know that I feel grateful, because it is people and authors like you, with that amount of talent, that really make working worhwhile. Now I have an aim for my own work.

For a handful of reasons, I have the crave to see Ken end up with Tanuki. o.O A surprise since I hardly ever acknowledge the OCs.

Amazing! I sought out the lemon in chapter 10 on - all I can say is YOWZA! I wish I had 10% of the talent you do. The story is so enthralling, the new characters engaging. I love Tanuki-kun, he's just the best.

Please post chapters 14 and 15, you'll make all us rabid fangirls very very happy!

Great story write more *puppy eyes* please

It has been a very long while since I've read such a great story. It's well written and I like the quotes in each chapter. I do wish you would add more chapters as I would love to continue it.

I haven't read many other of your works, but quite frankly I find your writing amazing. The way you write is just so...stunning. Superb. Dazzling. Sensational. When I read you work I am really THERE, there and waiting on the edge. I get impatient just to read the next sentence!

This story was utterly breathtaking. Your style is original and sure to be classic. I myself am an author (not of fanfictions, they seem beyond me _;) and I find myself totally in awe of your work. Many people write stories of worth, but you write stories of worth AND meaning, while still holding your audience. Not many people can do that. I hope that perhaps one day I'll be able to write as enthralling as you.

I really enjoy your writing (can't you tell? XP) and highly respect and admire your style. I look forward to your next update on this particular piece of work.

And as for an actual review of "These Fine Things of Heaven and Earth" it was wonderful. You really write Ken and everyone very well, and I love Tanuki-kun, he's such an intriguing character! And I'll admit, I almost cried a few times as well, it was so sad...poor Ken!
