Wonderful story.

Just want to second the previous reviewer - a wonderful story, and I too immediately thought of Lee Marvin in "Steel." But your writing has an original tone and lots of humor, so revisiting this theme was a definite pleasure!

This one actually reminds me of a Richard Matheson penned Twilight Zone episode about robot boxers because human boxing was outlawed. You got a strong voice going for this and for The Outer Limits that is a driving thing because the show was often very dark with the science fiction. My own fiction has the influence too, I will send you a copy of my magazine if you have a working e-mail address. I just put a submission call for both and for writers who write exclusively for the sites - I want new stories by both camps that are original in the delivery and characters belonging to the writer.
