I love this story a little more - every time I read it.

Poor Qui-Gon. Yet yes, just being there for someone is often better than words. Presences speaks more deeply of love than words do in times of intense grief. Good job, great characterization.

The one thing I disliked about the JA books and Tahl's death is that there wasn't a scene like this one...you did a very nice job.
