Hurrah! A new Bloodlines fic to read!

I know it's early on in your story, yet, but I wanted to leave you a quick comment to say how much I like your chapter two introduction. It's realistic, concise and chilling. And these thoughts are so perfect for a fledgling... doubting external factors (like the temperature), and also physical/internal factors ("Was she still a woman?" I found to be particularly clever). Your portrayal of Jack is great, too - just right! I think you made a good choice where to cut the scene, too.

I like your characters' exchanges so much, I would love to see some more meat-and-bones description-wise to flesh out the scenes even more.
