However, you mention that Magnus has a bullet scar next to his belly button.
However, it is mentioned in the books that he does not have a belly button. That might just be an alteration you're making to fit your story, but I thought I would point it out.

Wow, brutal to read. Not because you are a bad writer or anything, actually the way you write is why I'm going to bother and see if chapter two makes any more sense.

But I do I have to point out, for anyone checking the reviews to see if you should read this; I feel like you didn't actually read Magnus's character our of the books. There are enough hints and exposures of his early life in the books that this was. . . more than annoying.

Up side, I can always pretend this is an AU if it carries on. I'll probably read it all anyways, I'm hopeful that chapter one was simply a bad representation.

I couldn't even reply to this right away because I needed to get my shit together. You really did a fantastic job with this. When Mag died it was so jarring, and Alec sinking so low so fast like that was such a testament to their love. And Adriana is now my favourite OC ever, for so many reasons. She totally respects and enjoys the love that these 2 share, and I really love her for that. And she saved Magnus so that Alec could live and be happy again, and it was all just so EMOTIONAL! I was socked and sad and then sooo touched and relieved and happy that I just ended up a sniveling mess :P

But that shows that you have written an amazing fic that is believable, unique and well written. GREAT JOB!
