I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, and only hope that you write more, since you're seem to be such a wonderful author. Hm...But I'm not entirely sure if this is just the first chapter, or if it was a short story, and that's all there is to it. Forgive me if you said it specifically, but I don't recall that tidbit of information. Thank you for writing anything and feeding my ever growing addiction, love.

This is amazing! I love how Ryou imagined Bakura telling him to stay inside... It makes you wonder if the Spirit is there at all. Ryou could be in a coma he's to scared to come out of. Anyways... This is brilliant

That was haunting - it felt dissconnected with reality, which is how I expect Ryou felt. A really fantastic story!

I really enjoyed reading this oneshot. It really packs a punch and made me feel a little queasy... in the best possible way of course because you know a story is good when they can evoke emotions like that!

Another good story. Like I said before I love stories with Ryou and Bakura's soul rooms, and this is no exception. I've only read two of your stories so far, and I think I can already see a pattern. You have an amazing way with detail. I really can picture what your describing, which is important to me as a reader. Also you give Ryou such a childish voice, with his talk of monsters and darkness, and even painting Bakura as the good guy.

I though Ryou writing to the Spirit was interesting. I've read one other story where Ryou's method of expression was through writing letters, and then he choose to write to his sister, so that's what I kind of expected here, but nope. I liked it though because it carried on that childish mentality.

Another thing I liked was Ryou's obesession with the clock. It was more than just a focal point, because once it quit, Ryou's thoughts were sprinkled with just a dash of madness. I can understand it though, the obsession with knowing how much time had passed, because you described the need so well. Otherwise, I think I would have been kinda "The clock broke, so what?"

Once again, loved the ending, this time for its simplicity. After all that complex thought on forever, when it ends, how it ends, and so on, that ending really was perfect. Great story, I'm definitely going to check out more!

This was great. The rambling really worked. An English teacher once told me that being trapped in a silent room for a long period of time would eventually unhinge even the strongest so I think you got this down.

There was the sense that Ryou has been trapped way too long and that he is starting to crack. I like the idea that there are monsters outside his soul room too.
