Oh, wow! I'm running out of ways to say I love your writing. This story was so good I didn't even regret it being ATF. I loved these guys. We tend to forget that Nathan has been hurt many times also and has reason for his trust issues just as Ezra does. Thank you for the way you handle Nathan. Showing that even with all the turmoil roiling through him, he could step back and take a closer look in the end. Thank you so much for sharing your stories and please consider writing some more.

This is a truly wonderful story. I like how you used the prejudices of not just Bradley, but also Nathan, and Ezra and the rest of the team. Prejudices are not always bad - but Ezra judged his cousin to be worthy, based on his history, and never gave him a second evaluation, until it was too late. Nathan's own history got in the way, as did others. Great job!

I think someone ought to ask Nathan if he thinks he was hired onto Team 7 because off Affirmative Action. If it would make him feel better to think he had been hired BECAUSE of the color of his skin instead of the fact that he was qualified to do the job? Then find someone Nathan knows is incompetent and say they applied for a job in their area Affirmative Action gives them a better chance of getting it. Would you want to work for them? Let him see Ezra's point of view. Nathan is speaking from primarily an emotional POV Ezra is being more intellectual. It is hard for people to deal with that. We have all had to work with incompetent people. Affirmative Action is no different than nepotism. Favoritism is favoritism regardless of why it is shown.

FBI watching Ezra! Hurrmmpphh! He would be more watchful and concerned. Love this story always have.

Again with the Ezra bashing! My goodness these guys are stupid! Ezra is a Southerner! His relatives are Southerners! His mother was forever dumping him with relatives! How did these guys ever become detectives?

Oh the angst, gotta love it. Please keep up the good writing. Its rare to find really good mag 7 fic these days. I really enjoyed it.

This story was fantastic. Any story that has you arguing outloud with its characters while you read is a gem to be treasured.
