This is an exelent Fanfic! :) I could read this most of the time.

This is fabulous. I really like the way Shaz decribes how and why she forgot that she had died in the 1990s, and the reasons behind her suddenly wanting her mother are heartwrenching. Like Alex, she realised the importance of family too late. And her first impressions of Gene, Ray and Chris are so right - Gene as an intimidating mountain, before she gets to know him as a man.

This is such a lovely, thoughtful study of Shaz. Her confusion at first was perfect, as was the way she settled into her new world and falling in love. She seemed to understand Chris right away and how their being there helped them both. And seeing the rest of the team through her eyes gave new perspective to the characters. I confess I loved Gene being described as a mountain. All around great story!

Really enjoyed reading this story. It was nice to find out more about Shaz's background and her early days at Fenchurch, I've always like Shaz, she seemed to me the most real of the characters in Ashes to Ashes. I agree with previous comment, I think you should write stories based on Ray and Chris's first appearance, now that would be interesting!

You've only gone and done it again! Lovely fic - can we possibly beg some Chris and Ray parallel fics to go with it? *bribes with 'Revision-Made-Easy' juice* D
