Saturn's Hikari 7/27/04 . chapter 1
wow.

You've done a great job with writing this. THe style and all, it's very old english-y and fits quite well with it. I love your dialogue.

Brilliant! This manages to keep sounding like Tolkien would have wanted it to. There's like 1 spelling error, but come on, who cares?

I bow to you and your works of art. I don't believe I've ever seen such eloquent work on . It is refreshing and beautiful to actually read a story where the characters talk in their dialect, such as Lord Of The Rings is rather Olde English. Do keep writing, it's wonderful!

your stories are gems to this site)you can paint a world with just this piece. all the characters here are strong at heart...and yet you show their colors through their silence...and by what they don't do, not simpy by what they say. legolas doesn't ask for much from aragorn and never will but aragorn somehow understands this from legolas, and the reader can truly see the extent and length of their friendship...and now i'm blabbering like a fool...but truly, ...this is amazing, dude.

Remarkable! Beautiful and unique descriptions! Every word was so carefully chosen that this seems almost more like a poem than a story.

Every now and again when I wonder why the hell I keep coming back here to get buried under a load of bad MarySue fics and teenage swooning, I stumble over such a story and remember why. Its for the unique joy and pleasure one gets from reading truly exceptional and masterfully writen literature. Congratulations on this absolutely remarkable piece of work. I hope to read more from you.

You have a way with words that surprises even the most seasoned reader! Well done! Your story beholds only what a few can express, the true immortal representation of the characters of Tolkien!
