haha. I love it. I loved this part: but certainly not the fastest. It made me grin and I could totally see Dean's devilish grin. It made me see a little bit of young competitive Dean all wrapped up in mature nothing to prove Dean.

And, yes, the 67 Chevy Impala is one hell of a gorgeous car... especially in the mint-condition Dean keeps her in. But it definitely doesn't stand a chance in terms of speed because... it's a tank. But, anyways, I'm totally imagining the sweet sound the chassis or whatever it is growling like crazy as Dean tries to drag race with it.

Hee! So when the speedfreak was pulled over by the cops, he didn't even have the excuse he was challenged to race... Like it!

I loved this! But I'm betting the Impala could have taken him - older cars actually have bigger and more powerful engines (and burn more fuel, less efficientlly - but we won't speak of that!). I think we should have one week of the Drabble Challenge dedicated to the Impala!

Hmm The ending was not what you'd expect, though extremely realistic and much more Dean like. The Impala kicks ass in power, not in speed. This reminds me of that scene near the end of BacktotheFuture III, where instead of racing with Biff, Marty throws his car in reverse. Enjoyed it :)

Oh nice! I knew Dean wasn't actually going to street race him. I much prefer his response, even if it really is painful to hear that the Impala doesn't win 'every'time. Nice drabble!
