Just wanted to note: I was rereading this with YouTube up in another window, and I have discovered something amazing: Listen to the Birth by Sleep arrangement of Dearly Beloved as you read the end of chapter 4 and the beginning of chapter 5. SO GOOD.
I've been following the Society since sometime in February, and I have to say that this is likely the best-written story in all of the C2. Everything is captured so perfectly in it-the characters, the emotions, everything just feels /right/. Kudos to you
Hmm, I didn’t find this quite so enthralling as the previous chapter, but that may just be due to daft-o’clock-at-night syndrome, or the fact that the previous one ended on such an awesome note. And I have to admit, the enemies of the Society gatecrashing the Library is getting kind’ve old now. Sure, Runoa could do it, what with being a Librarian and all, but after all the major incidents, most of them involve a Sue/Stu getting into the Library and doing something nasty. This is meant to be the safest place in the Multiverse? What, if they hid somewhere less secure, would they all just wake up dead or something?
I don’t mean to say that the fics aren’t entertaining, far from it. But I think the enemy gatecrashing the Library is starting to get Power Ranger-esque standard, if you see what I mean.
Well, when you think about it, it is kind of obvious, really. I mean, Jeez, who couldn’t spot that?
But still, everyone has 20/20 vision in hindsight. What really made this chapter special was the beautifully detailed descriptions of the resurrection process (although, if he never ‘truly’ died, then can he really be resurrected?). Honestly, I actually stopped breathing when it came time for Adrian to awaken. That was beautiful, really.
Oh, fart... Now they've got Aster. I don't know what exactly that entails, but it probably ain't something good.
Anyways, now with Adrian offically back in the Society, my mind is just overflowing with questions. I won't bore you with all of them, but one imparticular deserves special mention...
WHAT'S THE FRIGGIN' DEAL WITH SUPERKITTY? Seriously, it's been knawing at me ever since I first read "The enemy of my enemy is my...DATE?". PLEASE tell Master of the Library to get on that.
(Omake; If I had to choose anyone in the Society to have a baby, it would the your longest resident couple, Michael and Claire. Adrian and Tash would be close second.)
Your singing /is/ one of your defining traits, and I'm always pleased with your selection of songs and the lyrics you choose to excerpt from them.
YES, Adrian is back, good tidings to the Library, hip hip hoor- wait, Aster was kidnapped? There are actually /more/ plot twists coming? I don't know if I should treat this as a "Christmas in July" or heave a sigh because we've been left at another cliffhanger!

Here I thought what had happened so far was awesome, but now...You should REALLY attatch a Surgeon General's warning to the rest of the Season 2 plot related fics from now on. 0.o

Seriously though, I actually had a massive grin on my face for the majority of this chapter. Usually I vaguely attempt to give a well-rounded review by going all Grammar-Nazi on people's asses, but as always with your fics, I have nothing to complain about here!
Adrian is alive again, everyone is happy, and Everything is back to normal. But wait, what's this? There's more? It can't be that plot important- HOLY**** RUNOA KIDNAPPED ASTER!
