I'm rather a fan of that whole Alice-wasn't-really-the-one notion, too, so I enjoyed this rather a lot ) I think that Jasper was probably with her because she was so *certain*, and he was probably overwhelmed by her emotions. What choice would he have had, right? To at least go along with it for a while? He didn't have any reason to fight it. Until there really *was* a reason.
