Very well done. Your story gives both vivid imagery and allows you to feel what the characters feel, and to see what the characters see,even if it something as meager as a sun shining through the window. Your story also supplies good narration and direction. Very enjoyable, as it caught my attention from the beginning, and most fics do not do that for me.
