From the lyrics that fit this story like pieces to a puzzle, to the sheer emotion that rang out throughout. I was close to tears at quite a few points. You are a gifted author who definitely knows how to incorporate the various human emotions, from doubt to regret to wistfulness. And that's how I see this story. Wistful. Congratulations on a job brilliantly done.

Well, I finally got around to checking out your work :)

I'm not a fan of songfics, but you've really managed to impress. Most of them are usually more song than fic, but this is so much different, and more than just mulling over feelings, it tells a story. It has a plot that goes somewhere.

This has to be the best songfic I've ever read. Really nice work :)
