YAY!

I honestly don't even know what to say after finishing that, but I have a silly grin on my face and a warm tingly feeling all over. This was completely adorable!

I love SoulSilverShipping, but I didn't read this story for a while, thinking it was going to be more centered on the Pokémon than the humans (because of the summary). The first chapter almost discouraged me from reading this because of the couple of huge blocky paragraph chunks. (I was afraid the whole story would be like that.) I was wrong, and I'm so glad I decided to read this. After reading this, I find myself having an extremely hard time trying to come up with a better summary, and I can think of is something along the lines of “This is a take on what happened after the Celebi event, and where it goes from there”. Anyway.

This story was so beyond cute, I just feel like laughing and squee-ing and making myself look like an idiot. I LOVE the rivalry between Meganium and Typhlosion (I personally picked Chikorita myself and I think a Fire-type best suits Silver) and I love the humor they added to this. I love that you added your own take on the mystery that is Silver’s family (I’m convinced Ariana is his mom or possibly older sister too!) and gave him some good background info. I really like that you gave reasoning behind the female protagonist’s missing father as well.

Another thing that made this fic great was that it was really well-written. A lot of SoulSilverShipping fics on here are cute, but in that cheesy, not-that-great-writing-but-still-cute-oneshot kind of way. This was not like that. Your grammar and punctuation were very good, and you writing is just nice to read. There were so many different scenes and events and feelings in this story that it made me think I was watching a movie or something. (Maybe I just read too many oneshots.) Whatever it was, I really loved that you made this a semi-long, well thought-out tale, and I think all the scenes wove together beautifully to tell your story.

All in all, I really, really liked this, and it’s going on my favorites list for sure. Great work. I’m off to go look at your other fics now. I hope to see more stories about this pairing from you, and you’ve earned my respect. Very, very nice job!

Whoa...I LOVED IT! You got Silver's personality just right. Most people hate him because he's an asshole, but he's only an asshole because that's all he knows! I love him. Underneath all the bad stuff, he's a great guy.

Lyra and Silver sure are cute, but you've brought it to a whole new angle with their two Pokemon having such great and distinct personalities

This is great! I love Typhlosion's attitude and the rivalry between the 2 starters LOL he had the nerve to rub on Meganium's furniture? LOL

I loved Typhlosion's thought of those 2 should make an egg and get it over with LOL

Aw! This was a really cute ending! I'll have to admit that I didn't see Silver's declaration of marriage as he left for Sinnoh coming at all! I'm super happy I got to see it resolve as such though, because some writer's might leave a situation like that open-ended.

One thing I constantly try to work through my head is what would ever happen if there was only one, one bed room left at the Pokemon Center and if Silver and Kotone had to share it. Normally my ponderings are when they still don't get along as well... but I have to say that I'm really glad you put that in at the end. It made it super sweet and had a sort of double meaning for me, which was awesome. :)

The only thing I'm left wondering... is how did Silver's visit with his Mom's family go? I was really intrigued about what may happen (big or small), but I guess in the end it wasn't that big of a deal? What about Kotone's dream of Silver's house and Route 25? Was that not a premonition and just a plain old dream to make her realize her feelings for Silver? I don't know, I just could have sworn you were going a different direction with that. Hmm.

In any case, I really enjoyed this story. It was the perfect amount of chapters for me, had plenty of solid back story, and a sweet ending (which is more than I could hope for). Great job! :)
