This manipulative Snape rocks. Even the Werewolf Incident is another part of his grand plan, though I did see hints of this once Snape figured out that Lupin was a werewolf.

I'm wondering though...do Severus has a life debt or doesn't he? He could probably extract himself out of danger without James' interference but on the other hand it was pretty close...

Also since Severus developed the antidote for the poison, does it mean Lily has a life debt to Sev? Do Potter owe a life debt to Potter as well?

If that's so, then doesn't it mean if ANYONE develops antidote for a particular poison, then the person who ingested it would have a life debt? How about Mediwitches? and Healers?

And, of course, the famous Shrieking Shack incident was portrayed in a wholly different light than is normally shown - and was still wholly believable. Beautifully done! I especially liked how Sirius felt guilty about almost making Remus a murderer. Great job!

Your version of his formative...well, he seemed pretty formed already by the time he arrived at Hogwarts, but anyway...years is a wonderful look into his mind, with underlying subtle humour and full characterisation of all characters given more than a half-line's mention.
