Marha/Master has the potential for a beautiful, angsty relationship. I really liked the way you portrayed them here. It was dark and sexy, the way Martha/Master should be.

There's something intoxicating about Martha/Master pairing that I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it to which I can't get enough. Imagine my joy when I stumble upon this rarity of a pairing. Anyway, your writing is beautiful and I love how you capture their characterizations in the 'year that never was'. I love the idea of the Martha in some sense have more power over the Master, however he would never admit it. I'll stop my rambling. Great Job!

Well, I read that out of curiosity, because my sister asked me the other day what a songfic was and I realized I'd never read one before, and then yours popped up.

Can't say I'm fond of that pairing, and romance isn't my cup of tea, though - but I thought I'd review anyway, even though it's not to my taste, to say that I can see that it's very well-written, with the song beautifully integrated into the narrative.

Oh, and you pulled off second-person tense. Now that, I am VERY impressed with. In fact, I think this might be the first time I've seen it done and work. That's what made me decide I needed to review, I think. So congratulations on that!
