This is really interesting;a combination of three different "Annie" songs-"Maybe","Hard-knock Life" and "Tomorrow".Of all the "Annie" songs-movie and Broadway play- the one that I feel a connection with is "Maybe".I'm adopted,and have lost my adopted I first heard "Maybe",I felt like that song fit me to a "t" because I wondered about my birth parents,just like year,my search has a happy ending, for Ifound my birth mother,alive and well.

Poor Annie! I like how insistent she was that her parents would come back for her, but at 11 years old, I'm surprised she wasn't disillutioned, what with the crap she endured at the orphanage. I like this poem, though. It's very sweet. But Annie is still being optimistic. Oh great, now I keep thinking about my niece of the same name. She will HAVE to see this film when she's old enough.
