this is an excellent story, truly is. it may be incredibly sad but that ok it is still a brilliant story

I'm trying to fit this to a particular character (I know you said it didn't have one in particular) and I'm having trouble trying. It's so applicable and it could be anywhere from Marauder era to Harry's time at Hogwarts. Nicely done.
