This was great. :) I think that the AN could have been cut a bit shorter though. I liked that this was a bright light hearted fic among all the darker ones for barricade day.

Yo! I am here to say: FEEL THE SHAME. You know I'm gonna memorize this and get it STUCK IN MY HEAD. And people are going to look at me funny when I sing it in the grocery store. BUT IT'S AWESOME. And definitely not stupid. I applaud your rhyming skills!

I especially like that you worked in the "liberty, equality, fraternity!" thing. It made me think up this.

On a final note, in the first verse, I like the sound of "Who will help us win THE day" better than "today." But, it's your song. :)

Just a suggestion though: I know you were doing a lot of explaining in the author note, but if you're going to write that much up there you might want to break it up a bit.
