Ah, so I wasn't the only one who loved their dialogue! I have a soft spot for bickering couples and I wished that we could have seen how Daine and Rikash would have been friends before he died. I thought the way that they grew to respect and like each other was great and I secretly wondered how it would be if they were to fall in love with each other.

Thanks for keeping this in character and in canon (I could never get the smell part out of my ideas of how they would get together). Please, can you write a longer fic? Or do some more one-shots if those are easier? Great writing for such a challenging couple.

I secretly ship this. XD I will always love their interactions, and the fact that I'm convinced at least Rikash loved Daine by RotG. Daine and Numair still win all the Tortall couple awards, but I do ship this in my head. Thanks for fueling my mental fire. XD

This is actually the best thing. I love Rikash (although I personally like Daine/Numair too much to ever consider Daine/Rikash, maybe I'll write Maura/Rikash AU something something something) and you really got his character pretty perfectly. I absolutely loved "Fools rush in where the gods fear to tread. Mind the teeth" This might be the best fic I've read. Certainly the best one shot. Thank you :)

Whoa! I never ever would've guessed that...I'm not quite sure I like a Daine/Rikash romantic pairing. I liked your writing, but I don't think my stomach is up for D/R kissing. Lol.
