Alestrel 4/30/12 . chapter 1Poignant and very beautiful, made more so by the flashes of humour. |
femme4jack 9/14/11 . chapter 1I enjoyed this one quite a bit, too. Liked having it be from Sunny's perspective, and Veer was a very well realized OC. The theme of doing what is right, and the ethical complications of such, was very well done. Loved the image of the science bots all having their fun together, and what that did to Sides. Yep, hope Sides won't wait next time. You have a much more balanced take on the twins than some stories I've read. You give them a lot of dimension, while keeping them in character, and I really like the way you write them. |
Riana1 7/23/10 . chapter 1I really enjoyed this. |
Carmilla DeWinter 7/19/10 . chapter 1Hmm. I'm not 100% sure what to make of this. Veer certainly is an extremely fascinating character, though difficult to truly like. However, this is supposed about Sideswipe's feelings, and having said emotions told from a distance (aka Sunstreaker), somewhat lessens the impact. |
Peacewish 6/16/10 . chapter 1Sweet and sad, even if the end wasn't much of a surprise. Obviously we knew Veer wasn't going to survive, it was just a matter of how, and the how cleared up pretty quickly after we met Ransack. I didn't like it quite as much as Feathers, though I couldn't say exactly why... not quite as many jokes, for one thing. Although I laughed out loud in plenty of parts. (Soundwave smites you for your disrespect.) Veer was, though, an excellent original character. You seem to have a knack for them! Smart, balanced, likable, not too unduly heroic or speshul. I especially liked, more than anything else, the theme of doing what's 'right', and how such a concept can mean so many different things in different contexts. |
