Just to let you know, I believe perfectly that, as your own story, you can use anyone you want as the ruler of Hell, but as for the argument, we went over Norse mythology in English. The ruler of the underworld was a female named 'Hel'. Sorry, I didn't read the story yet, I'll get to it right now )
You make a good point, and I apologize for the flippant and personal tone of my second comment. As you say, it's your fic. However, I have to wonder at your concern over the spoiler, such as it was. Don't you want to know as much as possible about a series if you are writing about it? Fan fiction is, by its nature, chock full of spoilers.
As for Goth, the Goths were a Germanic tribe living near the Danube river, nowhere near Norway. They sacked Rome. There is no 'Goth' mentioned in Norse mythology.
And Hild is not the Norse version of the devil, ya need to keep reality and anime seperate. The Norse " devil" was named Goth, and was a male.
PLus this is a whim, I didn't right this to follow the series, I wrote it under my own guidlines. Also Youkima " The minion" as you would say, was onyl up against 1 goddess. One is always eaiser to over come, especially when they aren't suspecting it.

Uh... yeah. Have you ever seen how Belldandy reacts emotionally in a situation where one of her family was threatened? I think not. The main problem though, is if Lucifer's minions were really this powerful relative to heavenly beings, why wouldn't he have destroyed Heaven long ago? AU is OK, but your premise has internal inconsistencies.
Well, the writing is technically good and the premise is as you say "different", but also most definitely AU. Urd's mother, Hild, rules Hell (remember this is Norse so the ruler of Hell is female), and Urd has turned down flat at least one offer from her mother to join her, even when Hild made it the price for aiding Peorth. There are several OMG sites which have info on Hild if you're interested.
As for the angel question, a goddess can forcibly remove her angel, and likely could also kill it, but the process is painful. Probably like cutting off your hand and then throwing it and your best friend into the meat grinder. However, there do not appear to be any lasting physical effects other than the goddess being less powerful. This leads us to the question of why Urd would kill her angel to begin with. Urd is even more powerful with World of Elegance, and WoE like all angels is completely subservient to the will of her goddess. Nobody in Heaven could control Urd through WoE. Of course, being AU, anything is possible here.
WEll, I thought I would do something new to my writting style, and I changed some things around, you could say it might fall under the catagory of AU, but I couldn't erally place it there because it doesn't differ enought to be considered that.
In short, I wrote this fic, and am still writting it, because it's an urge.
I just felt the need to do something different, and this plot formed in my head.
And yes, I know that Urd is fairly OOC, but I just wanted to write it this way.
And I don't know if the angels can die, or if it would affect their goddess, I just thought that ti would be a good start, and different from most other fics.
