Neither side knows just how bad this could be! The "advanced" Gou-ould might have a large number of tech advantages, but the Aliance can field more and way bigger ships! Not to mention the Jedi!

| skipper 1337 7/14/10 . chapter 1 Well, a very interesting start, but in my opinion the GFFA really does need to ally with Earth. Why? Because Earth possesses alliances withthe Tok'ra and the Asgard,and as such has lots of intelligence concerning the galaxy. Also the GFFA uses a different FTL system. They first need to find the hyperlanes that enable them to tavel from planet to planet. The Tau'ri, Asgard and Goa'uld have a different FTL, and as such can move far easier. The Tau'ri also have access to the ancient knowledge. Indeed an alliance with the Tau'ri would be beneficial for the GFFA, as the Goa'uld will unite against them, as the GFFA is a danger to their rule, and as such needs to be exterminated, according to Goa'uld ideology. Also do not forget the technology the Asgard can offer them (beaming). The Tau'ri are the main enemy of the Goa'uld at the moment and an alliance with them would help the GFFA considerabley (contacts to the Jaffa rebels too e.g.) |
