This alternate ending is horendous no joke

Flatland is one of my favourite books, but I do admit that the ending of the actual book is a tad unsatisfying. Your version was an enthusiastic imagining of how it very well should have turned out. Although I would say it was slightly rushed, you were rushed for time and space (as it was a Maths homework - your teacher's awesome by the way!) and if you had more of both, it would have developed further :)

A fine extension to Abbott's work! Maybe it should have been a new sphere, though: wasn't the original limited to visiting once every hundred years? No matter, the society updates make it worth reading, and the style nicely matches the original as far as this reader can remember it, worthy of a Victorian scholar yet quite readable. Nice work.
