You've really kept the character's personalities, and I love the brotherly fluff and the side-story extras in 1000 Paper Notes. All completely fantastic, and while I would try to think of Crane Senarios nothing comes to mind. :/ But still, awesome story, and I'll be looking forward to reading more!

Okay, I have an idea that would fold at least 3 Cranes, maybe more.

One of them, Hanna or Zombie, folds a crane out of a rectangle paper, so has to cut off some of it. Other takes remaining paper and folds smaller crane out of that. And so on and so forth. It's cute, I wanna see it!:D
